Residence von Wohlgemuth zu Wendelstein

Like numerous other residences along the Wine Road, this residence was also built in the traditional "Überetscher style".  The late Gothic construction is characterised by elements of the Italian Renaissance and skilfully combines architectural influences from the north and from the south of Italy, especially from Tuscany.

Agriculture

Like most South Tyrolean farmers, we mainly grow apples and grapes. Our wine varieties mainly include Chardonnay and Pinot Gris. Our apple varieties include Royal Gala, Golden Delicious and Pink Lady.

In our large stone-paved courtyard you can end your day and enjoy the last rays of sunshine with a glass of wine under the arbour

Before the conversion in 1984, two thirds of the inner courtyard were covered by a terrace. In the meantime, the terrace was reduced in size and the garden to the left side of the picture was planted with large pines and cypresses. Due to the picturesque Renaissance style, various events have already taken place in the inner courtyard, such as the Night of the Cellars of Salurn
